8/3/2023 0 Comments Ipad quick note![]() To create a new Smart Folder, hit the + folder button in the bottom left corner, give the Smart Folder a name, and then set the parameters for what you want to see inside that Smart Folder. iOS 16’s new Smart Folders in Notes are one of the biggest organizational jumps forward in recent memory (I’d put it up there alongside last year’s tagging features). New Smart Folders and Groupingsįolders in Notes have had a long, manual, tedious history. Passcode-locked notes in iOS 16 will surely improve security for those more private notes on the average user’s iPhone. (You can also keep locked notes inside 1Password, so all is not lost.) Having to run iCloud Keychain could be a dealbreaker for some if you swear by 1Password or other password managers. Locked notes are not viewable on devices running prior versions of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS.You must enable iCloud Keychain to use your iPhone passcode to unlock notes. There are also a bunch of limitations for locked notes: We’ve seen passcode locked notes in almost every other note-taking app before, so there’s not a bunch of new to be seen here. Want to store your last will and testament in a note on your iPhone, but don’t want the world to see when you pull up your grocery list? Passcode locked notes are now available in iOS 16, allowing you to lock confidential information behind an appropriate passcode. There’s no dragging and dropping to be found in Quick Notes for iOS 16.Īll in all, it’s great to have the ability to create Quick Notes on the iPhone and then to explore and build out those notes further when on iPad or on the Mac. This is different than on the iPad - on the iPad, Quick Notes slide over top the content on the screen, allowing for dragging and dropping content into the Quick Note. Tapping this arrow whisks in the Quick Note and tapping again opens the Quick Note in a full-screen display. When you revisit a webpage with a previously created Quick Note, you’ll note a tappable arrow in the bottom right corner of the webpage. ![]() Where the differences lie are in the post-creation phase. And these Quick Notes are stored inside a “smart folder” of Quick Notes in Notes. ![]() Quick Notes also include the highlighted text and URL if you add a Quick Note from Safari. A Quick Note can be created from any sharing menu in iOS 16. ![]() With iOS 16, Quick Note comes to the iPhone, albeit with a few differences. On iPad, Quick Notes would fly in from the side of the display and sit over top your on-screen view, allowing you to quickly drag and drop items from a Safari webpage into your Quick Note or capture quotes by highlighting text in an app. Quick Notes on iPhoneįar and away, the most exciting feature to debut in iPadOS 15 last year was Quick Notes. Here’s a roundup of iOS 16’s latest features for Notes, and a quick look at what we’re going to see in iPadOS 16’s Notes soon. Notes saw a big leap forward in iPadOS 15 and, with iOS 16, we’re seeing some of those key features filter down to the iPhone as well. Or there are those who started in Notes, tried every other note-taking app available, and ultimately ended up back in Notes after all the experimentation (remember the Uber-popular “Jedi” meme that went around?).įortunately, Apple’s built-in Notes app continues to improve each year, with new useful features for capturing moments of brilliance or small bits of ephemera along the way. We probably all find ourselves in this spot from time to time, wishing for something new and exciting to boost our note-taking productivity and unlock fresh new ideas. Yet, somehow, some folks get caught out in the rain with no note-taking app to be found. Obsidian, Roam Research, Bear, Agenda, NotePlan, Notability, GoodNotes, Evernote, SimpleNote - take your pick. From gardeners and librarians to quick jotters or artists, there’s likely to be a note-taking app for you. I’ll stay here and wait - you might be awhile. Quick: Think of all the note-taking apps you’ve read about, tried, or heard about in the last 12 months. 8/3/2023 0 Comments U boot yocto![]() You will see the linux kernel booting and eventually you will reach linux asking for the login username. ![]() To run the image on qemu you can simply run the following command: $ runqemu qemuarm nographic You can try different images like core-image-sato that has a GUI and is fully baked image but I don't need that.Īfter the build is complete you will have the output images in dir: /build-virt/tmp/deploy/images/qemuarm/ It will vary depending on your machine and internet connection. Poky supports QEMU by default and already has the required recipes for the 'virt' target. Poky is a distribution provided by the Yocto project that provides a base level functional distro and build system which can be used to illustrate how to customize a distro as well as being a good starting point for your own custom distro. In this article I will go through the process of building an image for the vexpress-a9 target and all the additional tools and configurations needed to make the final image as close as possible to how a real hardware platform will look like. The general rule of thumb is larger sizes mean less resistance. The wire’s size determines the amount of current that can flow through it. The point is, don’t close your doors to professional advice from an electrician, so you’ll end up with the ideal setup. You may actually be able to make your setup work with breakers with far lower ampacities if you know which CBs and wires to use. Lastly, don’t expect that you should limit your option to 60 amps when planning your sub panel. If you think you’ll end up taxing your circuits too much, then you may need to look past the wire gauge for 60 amp and at the wire size for a breaker panel with a higher ampacity instead. If you’re actually building a large workshop or a garage for your woodworking projects, for instance, you may need to consider the fact that most garage breaker boxes range between 50 to 100 amps. Related: Wire size for 50 Amp Sub Panel Don’t Forget About the Appliances or Tools You’re Going to Use That’s still a suitable 60 amp service wire size and is less expensive than a copper run. However, since we’re already dealing with plenty of voltage drop in this case, a 2 AWG aluminum wire or 2-2-2-4 aluminum mobile home feeder, to be exact, maybe the best option. If the main panel’s over 200 feet away, you can use a 4 AWG copper or 3 AWG aluminum or copper. That’s because if we factor in the 80% rule and the 30% voltage drop, such a setup will require a wire that can handle 97.5A in reality. 3 AWG copper wire is the 60 amp sub panel wire size if the main’s 150 feet away and assuming the voltage drop reaches as high as 30%.These recommendations make the setup future proof as well. begins to exceed the 5% safety threshold).Īssuming you won’t be using tools like a welder that may overload the circuit, we arrive at the following recommendations for setups of 150 feet or 200 feet at 220V/240V. However, we can’t deny that most electricians agree that runs over 100 feet are when voltage drop percentages become risky (i.e. That’s not always a static figure, mind you, since it’s also affected by other factors such as wire count and material. ![]() Voltage drop begins to become significant once your conductor is over 100 feet because that often means a 20% drop. These only mean one thing: We can’t ignore voltage drop when calculating 60 amp wire size for sub panels. In most cases, residential runs range from 100 feet to a little over 200 feet. That means you’re likely working with a box that’s some distance from the main panel. Some will even argue that your average wire size chart already factors in the 80% load rule.īut, I’ll always be able to counter that by saying you’re playing with fire, especially if you know that your wires stretch over 100 feet or more and you plan to do future expansions. Still, if you settle for the minimum 6 AWG wire for 60 amp breaker, you will still essentially conform to NEC guidelines. More importantly, this choice adheres to the safety recommendation that you shouldn’t let the breaker load exceed 80% of the service’s total ampacity. Many property owners thank their past selves for making the decision to oversize, since they won’t have to take the wire out and install a new one. Sure, the cables may become more costly, heavier, and less flexible, but do those downsides compare to the risks of electric fires and your appliances and gadgets failing? After all, is there any serious harm in picking a bigger wire size for 60 amp breaker, as long as it’s still compatible with that ampacity? Using a 4 AWG wire bumps your ampacity to up to 85A at 75☌ or 65A if we’re considering wire size aluminum.Ĥ AWG is the wire size for 60 amp 220V that most pros will recommend. If that’s the case, you may also want to consider using fatter PVC conduits. Why a Larger Size is Arguably the More Suitable Wire Size for 60 Amp Sub Panelįirst and foremost, I don’t recommend sizing at the minimum 6-gauge, especially if you’re planning to expand in the future. Don’t Forget About the Appliances or Tools You’re Going to Use.Why a Larger Size is Arguably the More Suitable Wire Size for 60 Amp Sub Panel. 8/3/2023 0 Comments Jing dong crowdfunding![]() Haoyang Bi, Enhong Chen*, Weidong He, Han Wu, Weihao Zhao, Shijin Wang, Jinze Wu.īETA-CD: A Bayesian Meta-learned COgnitive Diagnosis Framework for Personalized Learning The 37th AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI'2023), accepted, 2023. 8/2/2023 0 Comments Onyx boox![]() The display refreshes very slightly and often, which works well at keeping things quick and clean, without interrupting the flow. There’s a surprising amount of choice in Note, with all kinds of brush pen styles, line widths and grayscale options within a black-and-white but otherwise highly customizable experience. However, the stylus works extremely well for annotating PDFs and also for general note-taking in Onyx’s home-baked Notes app. ![]() We also noticed that scribbles sometimes disappeared before appearing again a few seconds later. In our experience, the Onyx’s matte screen proved super-easy to write and draw upon using the included stylus – much nicer than tapping on the glass front of an LCD tablet – although leaning on the screen did on occasion mistakenly initiate a command. What makes this E Ink device completely different to a Kindle is the inclusion of a touch layer that can be used with a passive stylus. One feature found on some other Onyx E Ink products is missing here – the ability to extend a desktop PC and act as a second screen for a PC monitor, albeit a static E Ink screen. A super-fast X mode (just about) makes video watchable. Which you opt for – Normal, Speed and A2 – will come down to personal choice. Unlike most E Ink displays, the refresh speed here can be tweaked, with the result basically a trade-off between clarity and faster page turns. This is helped further in dark settings by edge LEDs that illuminate the display in either ‘warm’ or ‘cold’ light. In practice, reading books and documents is a rewarding experience, and far more comfortable than reading on an LCD tablet. The Onyx Boox Note Air’s anti-glare coating on the flat cover-lens reinforces our experience, but we’re not totally convinced about the Onyx Boox Note Air’s resolution.įor context, the latest iPhone 12 Pro comes with a screen resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels but this much larger device manages just 1872 x 1404 pixels, for 227dpi. We love low-power, reflective E Ink displays – largely because they’re easy to read. There’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for file transfer (including a nice QR code feature for quick file uploads from a phone), plus 32GB of internal storage – there’s no SD card slot to expand upon that. Aside from a USB-C slot on its undercarriage and an on/off switch, there’s nothing else here. ![]() The Onyx Boox Note Air’s clean lines are accentuated by an almost total lack of physical features. Although not visible, LEDs sit around the device’s screen, acting as a front light. ![]() And it is evident, both from sacred and profane histories, that the idol gods, being consulted by the heathens, did sometimes through God’s permission and just judgment give them answers, though they were generally observed, even by the heathens themselves to be dark and doubtful. But the words may be, and are by some, rendered, through the battlements (or through the lattice in the battlements) of the roof of the house where being first walking, after the manner, and then standing and looking through, and leaning upon this lattice, which was grown infirm, it broke, and he fell into the court or garden belonging to the house.īaal-zebub properly, the god of flies an idol so called, because it was falsely supposed to deliver those people from flies, which were both vexatious and hurtful to them as Jupiter and Hercules were called by a like name among the Grecians for thee same reason. This latter supposition is most probably the true one, as Ahaziah did not fall either into the street or the court, but "in his upper chamber." Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber-This lattice was either a part of the wooden parapet, or fence, which surrounds the flat roofs of houses, and over which the king was carelessly leaning when it gave way or it might be an opening like a skylight in the roof itself, done over with lattice-work, which, being slender or rotten, the king stepped on and slipped through.
